We are dedicated to using science to protect and improve the health and wellness of the citizens and residents of Liberia and their communities through educational awareness, advocacy and the promotion of healthy lifestyles, research and injury prevention including detecting, preventing and responding to infectious diseases.
What we Do
As an organization, our overall program is about health communication. Health communication is the process, study, and practice of communicating promotional health information, such as our nationwide community-based public health campaigns, health education, and trust-building efforts between healthcare providers and beneficiaries – especially doctors and patients.
Monitor Health Status
We monitor the health status of Liberia to identify community health problems that affect Liberian citizens and residents.
Investigate Health Hazards
We research, diagnose, and investigate health problems and health hazards in Liberian communities nationwide.
Inform and Educate the Public
We inform, educate, and empower individuals and families - especially women, girls, children, and the elderly about health issues.
Mobilize Community Partnerships
We mobilize partnerships nationwide in Liberia to solve public health problems.
Advocate for Policies to Support Community Health Goals
We work with local and national policymakers, healthcare administrators and practitioners.
Collaborate and do Crowdfunding to Support Hygiene Initiatives in Schools
We engage the general community to participate in funding relief programs in the provision of medical supplies and facilities across Liberia.
Ensure a Competent, Skilled Health Workforce
We help build the capacities of local governments and communities so they can be effective.
Facilitate and Motivate a Volunteer Network Nationwide in Liberia
We liaise with our network of public health volunteers in the organization of campaigns in response to outbreaks and community diagnosis.
